How it is calculated

Energy charges are calculated slab by slab (telescopic billing) from the benchmark tariff for your state, then fixed/meter charges, fuel/power-purchase adjustment and electricity duty are added. For bi-monthly billing, slab limits are doubled.

Results are indicative planning estimates, not official invoices. Actual bills depend on your DISCOM's current tariff order, subsidies, meter charges, time-of-day rules and taxes.
